Driver - Part-time - We Ship Express, INC.

Driver: Part Time, Monday through Friday, 11AM – 4PM

Pay: $18 to $21 an hour, based on experience.

About the Company

WeShip Express is a logistics and distribution company located just off I-75 and US-301 in the new Florida International Tradeport in Palmetto, FL 34221. Our hours of operation are Monday thru Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Facility, equipment, and trucks are all less than three years old.

About the Position

WeShip Express is seeking a part-time driver to join our team. Work hours are 11 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday. As a driver you will go to our customer locations around the local area and load their packages onto a 26-foot box truck with liftgate, using a hand pallet jack. We expect you to be courteous and professional when interacting with customers.

You must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, have 2 or more years of professional driving experience, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.

Driver Duties and Responsibilities

• Load and organize product inventory from the customer into your vehicle and unload products in and out of the truck as needed throughout the day.
• Follow scheduled route for daily pickup.
• Keep vehicle organized, clean and tidy.
• Complete daily before, during, and after truck inspection to ensure it remains in good operational condition.
• Process orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Driver Requirements and Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license. 2 or more years of professional driving experience.
• A clean driving record with no moving violations in the past three years.
• Proficient at driving and parking 26-foot box truck with lift gate.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds comfortably.
• Experience using hand pallet jack, and electric pallet jack is a plus.
• Dependable.
