Location: 790 Sonoma Ave, Santa Rosa, CA
Reports to: Program Manager
Classification: Non-exempt
Compensation: $27.00/ hour
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week, variable shifts (Monday - Friday, occasional weekends/holidays, specific hour TBD)
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Driver to join our team at the Dr. Sushma D. Taylor Recovery Center in Santa Rosa. The Driver will transport residential clients to and from appointments, meetings, recreational outings, and other destinations, ensuring their safety and well-being. Additionally, the Driver will perform various tasks as assigned by the Nurse Manager and Director/ supervisor, including:
- Picking up medications and supplies.
- Running errands for the residential program.
- Assisting with program-related tasks and activities.
- Providing general support to the residential team as needed.
- Transport clients to/from appointments, meetings, and outings.
- Monitor vehicle safety, maintenance, and cleanliness.
- Provide direct support to clients, ensuring professionalism and courtesy.
- Establish effective working relationships with staff and clients.
- Maintain good attendance, punctuality, and effective time management.
- Valid Class B California Driver's License with clean driving record.
- DMV and agency insurance clearances.
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain productive relationships with clients, staff, and external agencies.
- Ability to recognize and manage personal bias.
- Ability to problem-solve and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Clear speaking voice, accurate vision, and hearing.
- Meet physical requirements for California Class B driver's license.
- Ability to remain seated for extended periods.
- Effective communication and crisis management skills.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
