Job Summary
The Customer Service Driver will be responsible for modeling and promoting Sendik’s culture by consistently providing “best in class” service to our guests. The main responsibility of the Customer Service Driver is to make daily deliveries to various stores and customers throughout the day. In addition, the Customer Service Driver will also assist the Customer Service Department with bagging groceries and gathering grocery carts and baskets.

Work Experience
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Serve customers throughout the store and during deliveries while modeling Sendik’s culture and providing “best in class” customer service, which includes, greeting, engaging, delighting and thanking every guest for their business
- Be an advocate for Sendik’s and customer satisfaction while serving customers outside of our store locations
- Daily communication with Customer Service Manager to review deliveries for the day
- Transfer items between stores, including, but not limited to, deli and bakery items
- Deliver grocery and floral orders directly to customers
- Assist with delivering catering orders as needed
- Assist with bagging and gathering grocery carts and baskets as needed
- Assist with the training and mentoring of new Customer Service Drivers
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety/sanitation regulations and procedures
- Assist with all other store duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age due to required operation of store equipment
- Current driver’s license with safe driving record is required
- Strong attention to detail
- Eagerness to interact with customers
- Strong sense of team – ability to anticipate the needs of the team
- Ability to work at a fast paced and efficient manner
- Ability to take initiative and make decisions independently regarding department needs and priorities, under general supervision
- Excellent time management, prioritization and organization skills
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, push/pull for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
