WE ARE- A private driver training school and third party license testing facility hiring detail-oriented part-time driving instructors, teachers, and license testers, with the potential for full time, to start training immediately. Teaching, coaching, mentoring, law enforcement, defensive driving, license testing or driving instructor experience of any kind is excellent, but only a great personality, committed work ethic, and strong desire to help others is required.

- Instructor/Tester schedules are usually the same days week to week.
- Some driving instructors work 5 days per week (4 weekdays and 1 weekend day), while others might work 3 days per week (2 weekday evenings and 1 weekend day)

Responsibilities and Duties
BEHIND-THE-WHEEL INSTRUCTOR & LICENSE TESTER- This position requires a team player with an "over and above" mindset and the unwavering ability to communicate, correct and connect. Driving instructors must be extremely patient, truly enjoy working hard to help people (especially youth), be detail oriented, and have the ability to remain firm with students and parents who sometimes forget our rules and guidelines, which exist, in order to keep our private driver training school running at a high level of efficiency. Part time instructors must be available to work a minimum of 10-12 part time hours per week on a consistent basis, while other part time instructors might prefer to work 20 or 30 hours per week instead. Full time employment opportunities, including supervisory and management positions will be offered to those candidates who excel as instructors. Weekend availability is always a plus and full time positions will be offered based on performance, attendance, and results. We are certified by PennDOT to perform non-commercial license testing, therefore, ideal candidates will be invited to become certified by PennDOT to perform license testing, and, advance into other administrative positions as our company continues to grow and expand our partnerships. We provide fully insured driving school cars with dual braking and gas for teaching.
Qualifications and Skills
REQUIREMENTS- For all positions you must be at least 25 years of age; possess a valid PA driver license; have no at fault accidents or citations with points for 5 years; cell phone with texting; have internet access; be able to deal with different personalities; be punctual; be comfortable driving in all conditions; remain committed to the days and times agreed to upon hiring; pass the DMV test again, and pass the following 4 background checks:
- Federal check with fingerprint screening
- State criminal record check
- Child abuse clearance
- 3 year PA driving/DMV report
