Job Title: Drupal Developer
Location: San Ramon, CA
Position Type: 12 Months+ Contract
Rate: DOE (W2/1099/C2C)
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Daily management of updates to websites, email marketing campaigns, and other digital resources, including coordination of content creation, change requests, and website publishing
Analyze incoming requests and translate into functional requirements
Propose implementation strategies for feature requests and work with development vendor to execute with a critical eye on implications of various implementation options.
Build email templates for email marketing campaigns using HTML and CSS
Manage and organize all assets (copy, imagery, video, etc.) for digital properties
Generate weekly analytics reports for distribution
Translate feature requests into functional requirements and communicate to a technical vendor
Assist in the management of SEO/SEM including implementing best practices across all digital properties
Continuously analyze operational process to find and implement new efficiencies
Regularly QA websites for errors, functional failures, etc.
Serve as a resource to extend and support self-service access and practice among MarComm team
Continuously review websites' look & feel, user experience, templates/infrastructure and make recommendations for improvements
Monitor content "shelf-life and make recommendations to Digital Marketing Leader and Content Strategist for updates, deletions, improvements
Regularly review internal and external websites maintained by organization Corporate and organization Business divisions for design, function, user experience, content and provide updates to MarComm team, including recommendations for synergy etc.
Collaborate with Internal Communications team to ensure that web sites, email marketing campaigns, etc. are coordinated with organization Software and Corporate social media channels
Desired Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent focused on computer science, marketing, communications or related field.
3 years managing web and digital content
Experience not just using Wordpress, but developing for Wordpress.
Must have experience utilizing a CMS, particularly Drupal and similar open source CMS
Extensive HTML5 and CSS experience required; JS, PHP, and SQL a plus
Fluent in the web development process and lifecycle
Experience with SEO/SEM, particularly with PPC and affiliate marketing
Experience utilizing email marketing applications
Experience with web analytics applications (Google Analytics, Omniture, etc.) and identifying KPIs
Proficiency with Photoshop and Illustrator
General understanding of web infrastructure and systems
Knowledge of marketing automation applications such as Marketo or Eloqua
Have a strong understanding of web best practices for design and implementation of code
Strong understanding of information architecture and importance of taxonomy with web site structure
Above average listening and communications skills
Ability to work within a rapidly changing environment, multi-task and prioritize
