Description:
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Work effectively and collaboratively with Web Systems colleagues on assigned projects and activities,
Team with Front-End Development/Design personnel to build out new and redesigned websites in the client Platform (currently multi-site, Drupal 10). Work within the platform to ensure all appropriate features, content types, files, documents, images, displays, etc. render as expected on the finished website. Team with Backend Development personnel on any features requiring development work on a given site build, such as customized Views, Blocks, Boxes, Context, etc,
Engage and manage each site build as a small project from initial requirements gathering, through iterations, to final site publish. Write simple project proposals for each office’s engagement. Hold meetings, provide updates, manage customer expectations. Set, communicate, and meet timelines for customer approvals and deliverables. Ensure timely provision of Team deliverables, and
Perform, verify and troubleshoot automated content migrations. Assist customers with access permissions. Train and assist staff in manual content migration, editing and updating.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Team with Backend Development personnel on any features requiring development work on a given site build. Install and Configure Drupal Environments in on-premise and cloud environments using appropriate CI/CD tools. Debug and resolve Drupal related issues,
Migrate Drupal websites from older versions of Drupal to newest versions of Drupal. Verify and troubleshoot automated content migrations. Train and assist staff in manual migration, editing and updating of content. Troubleshoot and assist customers with access permissions and roles as necessary,
Must meet all applicable the client and industry standards, security and accessibility/508 checkpoints, along with customer requirements and approvals. Execute pre-engagement review and evaluation of websites. Perform quality checks and necessary remediations before publishing,
Maintain necessary reporting and documentation in appropriate tracking systems (such as ClickUp, Helix/Remedy, and potentially others) - including but not limited to client pages, receipts of signed approvals, project issues, tasks and tickets, and
MINIMUM OUALIFICATIONS
This is a high volume and high visibility position demanding reliable, timely delivery of high caliber service and work product,
Excellent communication skills required. Must be able to maintain poise and professionalism with clients of varying roles and technological skill levels,
At least 2 years experience with Drupal as a Site Builder, Front-End Developer, Backend Developer or equivalent. Experience migrating content in Drupal or other CMS products,
At least 4 years experience with HTML and CSS. Must be expert in forms. Experience with PHP, js or js libraries a plus,
Experience working in multiple environments, using appropriate version control and continuous integration tools. Experience with GIT and Jenkins helpful,
Well-rounded knowledge of web technologies and tools; usage of social media, content management systems and computer systems,
Proven testing, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Experience with 508 Accessibility Standards compliance,
Fundamental Project Management skills. Ability to work in both Agile and Waterfall. Reliable project reporting. Experience with issue tracking and ticketing systems such as JIRA,
Ability to self-organize and work collaboratively with team members. Adaptation to multiple tasks and shifting work objectives, and
Possess a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or the equivalent in education and work experience.
SPECIFIC OUALIFICATIONS
At least 3 years experience with Drupal 10 as a Site Builder, Front-End Developer, Backend Developer or equivalent. Experience in migrating older Drupal sites to Drupal 10, leveraging Drupal migration modules. Experience migrating content to Drupal from other CMS products,
Experience building responsive, accessibility compliant websites using Drupal, Twig in Drupal, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, SASS/LESS and JavaScript/jOuery. Experience with multi-site Drupal installs. Experience working in multiple environments using appropriate version control and continuous integration tools,
Thorough understanding of HTML forms and Drupal Webforms absolutely required. Deep familiarity with Drupal modules such as CTools, Views, Paragraphs, Panels, etc,
Must possess excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to troubleshoot Accessibility/508 issues on the web and deliver standards compliant work product. Well-rounded knowledge of web technologies, web development tools, usage of social media, analytics, etc,
Must have fundamental project management skills, solid experience managing customer expectations on multiple projects, reliable project reporting. Experience with issue tracking and ticketing systems such as JIRA. Experience working with Agile or Scrum,
Experience training content editors in using Drupal. Demonstrated ability to discover, understand and communicate technical solutions and instructions with customers of varying levels of technical understanding, and

Note:
This role is currently expected to work primarily via remote, but may be required to be onsite as necessary, with current working hours Monday through Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm.
Work on-site 40 hours per week. The normal work hours are 9 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with an hour for lunch. Minor adjustments to the normal schedule will be considered,
