Drywall Superintendent - Gpac

About the Job
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Manage drywall installation projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and specifications.
- Team Leadership: Direct and motivate a team of drywall installers, subcontractors, and laborers, typically leading a crew of 6-10 employees.
- Quality Control: Perform inspections to guarantee compliance with industry standards and client expectations.
- Safety Management: Enforce company safety policies and OSHA standards on all job sites, maintaining a safe work environment.
- Coordination: Work with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to optimize resource allocation, including labor, equipment, and materials.
- Blueprint Reading & Layout: Read blueprints, layout projects, and make necessary adjustments to align with project requirements.
- Problem-Solving: Proactively address issues that arise on-site, minimizing potential risks and delays.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role within the drywall industry.
- Proficiency in drywall installation, metal stud framing, and sheetrock hanging.
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities, with experience leading crews.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and construction documents.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and OSHA standards.
