Drywall Superintendent - Gpac

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Oversight: Manage drywall installation projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and specifications.
• Team Leadership: Direct and motivate a team of drywall installers, subcontractors, and laborers, typically leading a crew of 6-10 employees.
• Quality Control: Perform inspections to guarantee compliance with industry standards and client expectations.
• Safety Management: Enforce company safety policies and OSHA standards on all job sites, maintaining a safe work environment.
• Coordination: Work with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to optimize resource allocation, including labor, equipment, and materials.
• Blueprint Reading & Layout: Read blueprints, layout projects, and make necessary adjustments to align with project requirements.
• Problem-Solving: Proactively address issues that arise on-site, minimizing potential risks and delays.

Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role within the drywall industry.
• Proficiency in drywall installation, metal stud framing, and sheetrock hanging.
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities, with experience leading crews.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and construction documents.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and OSHA standards.
