Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP, a global Am Law 50 firm, is seeking an E-Billing Coordinator to join our Billing Department.
This position can be based in one of the following offices: Century City, Downtown Los Angeles, Orange County, Del Mar, San Diego, Silicon Valley, San Francisco, Dallas, Houston, and Chicago. There is only one opening.
*This position has a remote/hybrid work arrangement, with the expectation to be in the office on an as needed basis.

The E-Billing Coordinator is a member of Sheppard Mullin’s Billing Department, working on the E-Billing Team. Reporting to the Billing Supervisor and Billing Manager, this individual is responsible for handling the firm’s submission of invoices electronically through various ebilling vendor portals.
Responsibilities:
Submitting invoices electronically through various ebilling vendor portals which includes tracking and handling all rejections to ensure the invoices are submitted successfully.

Essential Functions of Job:
- Submit invoices electronically through multiple e-billing vendor portals.
- Maintain timekeeper and budget information within e-billing vendor portals.
- Follow up on invoice rejections by communicating with clients, attorneys and secretaries.
- Tracking invoices received for electronic submission to ensure completion.
- Communicate with clients, attorneys and secretaries when matters need to be set up in the ebilling vendor portals.
- Editing a LEDES format.
Qualifications and Experience
Required Qualifications:
- Three (3) years of electronic billing experience using various e-billing vendors (i.e. Legal Tracker/Serengeti, LexisNexis CounselLink, Mitratech Collaborari, Tymetrix 360, Wolters Kluwer Passport, Allegient Legal-X, Ascent doeLegal, CSC Matter Management, Corridor Bridgeway and Legal Suite Solutions, CounselGo/SimpleLegal, Onit)
- Experience with Aderant/CMS or Elite
- Ability to edit a LEDES format.
- Basic typing skills (at least 40 wpm)
- Proficient with Outlook, Word and Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong Organizational and follow-up skills
- Professional, customer-service mindset and approach
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to prioritize tasks and complete work within established deadlines
- Ability to thrive in a team environment and look for opportunities to provide additional help
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with E-Billing Hub
- Experience with Billblast
Education
Required: High School Diploma
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree
Computer/Software Knowledge
Required:
- Aderant/CMS or Elite
- Oulook, Word, and Excel

Work Environment
- You will be based in one of our local Sheppard Mullin offices but will be allowed to work from home.
- Overtime will be required on occasion as the workload demands.
California: The pay range for this position is $31.00 to $44.00 per hour.
