Role: E&I Technician III
Location: Mansfield, MA
Duration: 5 Months
The Facilities HVAC Technician is responsible for overseeing and maintaining various facility systems, including HVAC, air compressors, steam boilers, water heaters, DI water systems, and waste water systems. The position involves troubleshooting, repairing, and supporting both critical and non-critical facility and manufacturing equipment. This role is on-site and temp-to-perm, requiring a licensed technician.
Primary Responsibilities:- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC/R equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain, repair, and replace DDC and pneumatic controls.
- Monitor facility systems daily using the BMS (Building Management System) and respond to alarms.
- Enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
- Provide technical support to facility teams, engineering projects, and other departments.
- Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance across manufacturing and facility support areas.
- Document maintenance tasks in the computerized maintenance management system.
- Oversee and coordinate work with contracted maintenance providers and on-site contractors.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician's License (required)
- Universal EPA Certification (required)
- Grade 2I Waste Water License (preferred)
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 10+ years with commercial HVAC equipment.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with Building Management Controls (Trane Tracer Ensemble BMS).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project, Word, and Excel (preferred).
- Key Skills:
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- Strong multitasking and workload prioritization skills.
- Customer service and quality-focused.
- Strong analytical skills for problem-solving and implementing technical solutions.
- Regulatory Compliance: Must adhere to FDA regulations (cGMP, GDP) and EH&S, as well as company policies.
- Ability to move throughout the facility as needed.
- May need to periodically lift or move items up to 25 lbs.
