JOB TITLE: Early Career Aircraft Systems Assembly - SC - FREE HOUSING SUPPORT

LOCATION: North Charleston, SC

PAY RATE: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour

Summary: 

• Performs routine production assembly on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, aircraft systems, equipment, and accessories. Tasks include:

• Utilizing detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

• Conducting hydraulic, duct installation, lighting, and interior repair, along with waste and water system support.

• Selecting correct parts, materials, tools, assemblies, and standards for installations.

• Reporting job constraints, performing rework, functional checks, and making authorized changes.

• Drilling close tolerance holes in composites, indexing tools, and measuring gaps.

• Maintaining a clean, organized, and Foreign Object Debris (FOD)-free work area, adhering to safety protocols 100%.

Required Skills:

• High school diploma or GED.

• 1+ years of experience with assembly operations and following detailed work instructions.

• Basic computer skills, understanding of assembly processes, quality systems, troubleshooting, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Attention to detail, effective communication, accountability, adaptability, and teamwork.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 25 pounds, with occasional two-person lifts for heavier items.

• Frequent bending, twisting, crouching, overhead work, and standing on various surfaces.

• Exposure to sealants, solvents, noise, elevated platforms, and atmospheric conditions.

• Must use personal protective equipment and pass visual acuity and color tests.
