A-Line is now hiring a Echo Technician for adult and pediatric echocardiograms. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week

Specialty: Adult and Pediatric Echocardiography
Shift: Mix of 8 & 10-hour days based on department needs (0700-0800 start times)
Experience Required: Minimum 5 years

Key Responsibilities

• Perform adult and pediatric echocardiograms, including:

  • Bubble Study
  • Imaging with Contrast Agents
  • M-Mode
  • Pharmacologic Stress Echo
  • Portable Studies
  • Right Ventricular Inflow Tract (RVIT) and Outflow Tract (RVOT)
  • Routine and Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)
  • Treadmill Stress Echo

• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols, including isolation precautions and procedures for patients in ICU/ED settings.

Schedule and On-Call Requirements

• Weekend Call: Every other or every third weekend, with flexibility based on department needs.
• On-Call: One weekday per week, depending on department needs.
• Floating: May float within the facility as needed.
• Mix of 8 & 10hr days based on department needs - 0700-0800 start times

Certifications Required

• Mandatory:
  • ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer)

Additional Information

• Guaranteed Hours: The client may cancel up to 36 hours per thirteen-week assignment without compensation. Additional cancellations may incur charges.
• Location Requirement: Must be in Illinois 3 business days prior to compliance for fingerprinting requirements.
