Job Title: ECM Project Manager
Client: IT Industry
Duration: Full Time Position
Location: Bloomington, MN 55425
Have a complete knowledge and understanding of Project Management tools to best manage multiple timelines, clients, and staff.
Collaborate with ECM engineers and sales to select appropriate design solutions to ensure the deployment of systems meet the client's needs.
Meet weekly with team members for project updates and review areas off track.
Schedule cadence for communication with clients on updates and project status.
Communicate project information through presentations or technical reports.
Assist clients with the design and build of each Document Management Solution.
Provide technical guidance or support for the development or troubleshooting of systems.
Document design specifications, installation instructions, and other system-related information.
Define and analyze objectives, scope, issues, or organizational impact of DMS migrations.
Provide Go Live training as needed to assist with overall project implementation.
Establish functional or system standards to address operational requirements, quality requirements, and design constraints.
Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
3+ years of Open Text eDOCS and/or other Document Management experience.
College Degree or DMS Certified Systems Engineer.
Integration and experience with Document Management tools.
Software integration experience.
Ability to recognize opportunities for change and challenge assumptions regarding current environment and practices, ensuring that the Client is aware of and has considered alternatives and understands associated benefits and risks.
Practical experience in the management and support of client server, N-tiered and cloud-based technology.
Conceptual knowledge of virtual desktop infrastructure technologies.
Working knowledge of the varying nature of software projects and capable of working effectively on small, medium, and large projects, spanning both internal development and product selection/acquisition.
Solid analytical, research, writing and interpersonal skills and able to work effectively with clients at all levels.
Experience in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, problem resolution on document management system environments.
Detail-oriented self-starter and able to work independently and as a member of a collaborative team.
Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions.
