This pivotal role will focus on driving online sales growth and maximizing revenue through effective management of our e-commerce platform, primarily Shopify Plus. The ideal candidate will be proactive, with a strong understanding of digital marketing, online consumer behavior, and marketplace management.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Growth: Develop and execute strategies to drive online sales and achieve revenue targets across multiple digital channels.
- Platform Management: Oversee and optimize the Shopify Plus platform to enhance user experience, improve conversion rates, and boost traffic and retention.
- Data Analysis: Conduct regular analysis of sales data, website traffic, and customer behavior to identify improvement opportunities across marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, eBay).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and IT teams to align and support local e-commerce initiatives.
- Digital Marketing Campaigns: Implement targeted campaigns to drive traffic, increase brand visibility, and boost conversion rates through various communication channels (social media, email, etc.).
- Inventory & Pricing Management: Oversee inventory control, pricing strategies, and product merchandising to maximize sales and profitability.
- Market Monitoring: Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to identify market opportunities and threats.
- Technology Implementation: Continuously evaluate and integrate new technologies and best practices to optimize e-commerce operations.
- Expansion Opportunities: Explore new direct-to-consumer sales channels, including social selling and additional marketplaces.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to e-commerce operations.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Proven track record in e-commerce management with demonstrable sales growth achievements.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Digital Marketing Knowledge: Excellent understanding of SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media strategies.
- E-commerce Platform Proficiency: Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento) and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- UX/UI Awareness: Solid understanding of user experience and interface principles for e-commerce websites.
- Leadership & Communication: Strong skills in collaboration and communication across global teams.
- Detail-Oriented: Focused on delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- Industry Experience: Background in retail or consumer industries is a plus; interest in automotive or DIY sectors is beneficial.
