ABOUT THE ROLE: This is a temporary 6-month contract role to cover a maternity leave, with the potential to transition into a full-time position. In this role, you will collaborate with multiple Blu Dot teams to ensure the website contains accurate and engaging product information. You will be responsible for creating all new products and maintaining the existing product catalog on the BluDot.com e-commerce site.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Build and maintain each product using our Adobe Commerce/Shopify platform. Product data includes product features, dimensions, photography, copy, inventory availability, pricing and SEO data
• Project manage the entire product launch process for the website; work closely with internal ecommerce, product development, merchandising, and creative teams and third-party vendors to obtain all necessary assets for product pages
• Ensure new product introductions are prepared in Magento/Shopify within specified schedule at a high level of quality and accuracy
• Lead bi-weekly team meetings to discuss status of necessary web assets and milestones for new product launches
• Collaborate with web merchandising team to execute on Blu Dot Brand visual merchandising standards
• Make site updates for AU and MX sites as needed, including updates to pricing and availability
• Complete routine site maintenance, product changes and merchandising changes
• Troubleshoot and respond to internal teams' questions about product related website issues
• Assist with testing code changes and preparing for code deployments as needed
• Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, merchandising, and IT, to align ecommerce initiatives with overall business objectives and priorities

IDEAL EXPERIENCE + QUALIFICATIONS*:

• 2-3 years of experience with product catalog maintenance in an e-commerce platform; Adobe Commerce experience preferred.
• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• Highly organized with the ability to effectively manage multiple simultaneous initiatives.
• Understands the importance of the role's accountabilities and responsibilities.
• Has a high attention to detail and take pride in doing things right
• Effective communicator who can work well with multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Position is based out of Minneapolis, MN headquarters with a flexible working environment/schedule (no full-time remote work available)
