Edible Landscape Specialist - Post Ranch Inn

 As a member of the Post Ranch Inn, the Edible Landscape Specialist will lead the culinary garden and property foraging operations to ensure a unique guest experience. Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to, ensuring production and standards are in alignment with the ethos of Post Ranch Inn. 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS: 

• Must have at least 5 years working in an organic farm or garden
• Must have a strong knowledge of heirloom vegetables, herbs, tree grafting, proper pruning and practices for sustaining growth and usage
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time 
• Requires repetitive motions such as grasping, stooping, bending, lifting and pulling 
• The vast majority of work takes place in the garden. Candidate must be able to work in conditions ranging from light rain and fog to mid-summer heat and sun. 
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis, and have the ability to bend, stoop, stretch, and climb and squat frequently to fulfill a range of manual tasks
• Must have a valid driver’s license

Pay range for the Edible Landscape Specialist position is $30 - $35 per hour
