We are seeking an experienced EDMS Application Developer in Fairfax, VA. In this role, you will work closely with the Fairfax IT team to design, maintain, and document Content Server environments, including add-on modules, within a Windows environment. You will be responsible for configuring and developing the OpenText Content Server ECM Suite, including Workflows, Web Reports, Active View, Template Workspaces, AppWorks, OpenText Capture Center, Document Access, and Vendor Invoice Management with SAP Solutions. The ideal candidate will also have strong database skills and familiarity with configuring and managing web/application servers such as IIS, Apache, and Tomcat.
Key Responsibilities
The base range for this contract position is $40 - $80/per hour, depending on experience.
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Key Responsibilities
- Content Server Design and Maintenance: Collaborate with the Fairfax IT team to design, maintain, and document Content Server environments, including add-on modules, ensuring optimal performance and functionality within a Windows environment.
- Configuration and Development: Configure and develop components of the OpenText Content Server ECM Suite, including Workflows, Web Reports, Active View, Template Workspaces, AppWorks, OpenText Capture Center, Document Access, and Vendor Invoice Management with SAP Solutions.
- Server Management: Manage and configure web/application servers (e.g., IIS, Apache, Tomcat) to support the Content Server environment and ensure reliable and secure application performance.
- Database Management: Utilize strong database skills to manage and optimize databases related to the Content Server and associated modules.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, development processes, and system architecture to support deployment and future maintenance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT and business stakeholders, to ensure the effective implementation and integration of EDMS solutions.
- Support and Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for the Content Server environment, addressing issues as they arise and implementing solutions to enhance system performance and reliability.
- Proven experience in designing, maintaining, and documenting Content Server environments, including add-on modules, within a Windows environment.
- Strong expertise in configuring and developing the OpenText Content Server ECM Suite, including Workflows, Web Reports, Active View, Template Workspaces, AppWorks, OpenText Capture Center, Document Access, and Vendor Invoice Management with SAP Solutions.
- Familiarity with configuring and managing web/application servers such as IIS, Apache, and Tomcat.
- Strong database skills, with experience in managing and optimizing databases related to EDMS solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with various teams and stakeholders.
