Your Mission
- Improve, validate and maintain the EGSE per engineering input.
- Provide first level investigation on NCR's relating to EGSE and electrical systems.
- Support production team for anomaly resolution.
- Support collaboration with D2M and other teams (Quality, IT, Procurement, ...).
- Support test scripts validation and testing.
- Support Test & EGSE equipment configuration.
- Creation of JIRA tasks as requested by engineers and following up on its closure and updates.
- Support the implementation of changes on the FAL EGSE, coming from flight, ground designs, or processes changes.
- Support internal improvement projects
This position reports to the US FAL Mission Support Manager and is based in Merritt Island, Florida, USA. Full on-site presence required. Weekend work may be required with appropriate compensation.
Your Day-to-Day
- Support production engineers and technicians on all topics concerning the electrical equipment and systems.
- Support the setup, configuration, and commissioning of the production stations.
- Support EGSE maintenance and repair for the FAL.
- Support EGSE calibration related activities.
Your Profile
- Associate Degree + 2 years' experience or High School + 5 years' experience
- Hands-on experience with EGSE
- Hands-on experience with electrical measurement devices
- Knowledge about SCADA is an asset
- Experience working in a clean room environment, understanding of precision cleaning and of the handling/maintaining of clean hardware/systems.
- Must be able to review and understand both written and electronic procedures and technical documents in English. Verbal French or Spanish a plus.
