Overview:Salary and Benefits:
A wonderful family of four living in Larchmont, Westchester County, New York is seeking a nanny/housekeeper to assist them in their home. They have twins aged 11 years-old. The family use ASL with one of their children, and it would be wonderful if the candidate is familiar with it too.
This is a live-out position and the schedule would be Sunday-Thursday, 12pm-8pm with some flexibility needed.
This is an animal friendly household; they have a French Bulldog. They also have a cleaner come in once a week to do a deep clean.
Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities for the position include
- Grocery shopping and errands
- Stocking of the pantry and keeping the kitchen organized
- Cooking dinner daily - the candidate should have good knowledge of cooking; they enjoy family style cuisine
- Housekeeping will include light cleaning, daily tidying and organizing, making/changing beds, vacuuming
- Laundry and ironing
- Pick-ups/drop-offs from school and activities as needed- the family would provide a car
- Prepare school lunch boxes the night before
The candidate must be comfortable around dogs, and on occasion feed and walk her if required
Requirements:- The candidate must have strong housekeeping, cooking, and organizational skills
- Must have strong attention to detail.
- The candidate should be very organized, discreet, proactive, and have a calm and positive disposition
- Clean drivers licence is required
- Fluent English speaking
- Compensation $35+ per hour
- 2 weeks PTO
- 5 sick days
- Help with relocation if needed
