EHS Coordinator will provide hands-on support for multiple aspects of Kobelco’s safety and environmental activities. The coordinator assumes responsibility for the successful completion of EHS assignments to ensure Kobelco’s adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. |
Requires constant physical activity throughout shift (except breaks and lunch) such as walking, sitting, standing, bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, handling, near/far vision, pushing, pulling, carrying, and lifting objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
Responsible for managing: Fire Suppression System, Emergency Response Plan (training, drills, ect.), Spill Kits, Eyewash stations, LOTO program and Energy Control Procedures, and training and associated Learning Management System
Monitor safety and environmental metrics through KMS reporting system (Near Misses, Mobile Equipment Accidents, First Aid Incidents, OSHA Recordable Injuries and Chemical Spills)
