About the Job
The responsibilities of the Environmental Club Advisor:
To provide continuity with the history and tradition of previous years
Help the organization understand the policies and procedures of the EHS ASB
Oversee club activities & projects
Pointing out new perspectives and directions and assisting in the development of insight into problems
Coaching individuals in their duties as leaders and/or officers
Identifying and developing potential new leaders
Supervision of projects or events
Hold regular and consistent meetings with membership
Communicating with Activities Director and Book Keepers to follow necessary steps for field trips, projects, purchasing, etc.
Attend ASB workshops held I building
Meet deadlines set forth for ASB advisors
The objectives of Environmental club are:
Environmental awareness
A forum for all students to express their views
To make our campus a better steward for the environment
The Environmental Club meets each Wednesday after school throughout the school year. Club members work to help EHS in recycling efforts . When time allows students work on activities to promote sustainability and school culture.
Physical Requirements:
The usual and customary methods of performing the job’s functions require the following physical demands:
Ability to regularly walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, push, pull.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
