Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs and policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards.
- Lead safety training programs for employees to promote awareness and compliance with safety standards.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and develop corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and other applicable safety laws and standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of OSHA regulations and implement changes as required.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of safety-related incidents, inspections, and training activities.
- Develop and distribute safety-related communications, such as newsletters and safety alerts.
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to integrate safety into all manufacturing processes.
- Manage the workers' compensation program, including claims processing and coordination with insurance carriers.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EHS management software.
- A bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
