We are currently seeking Electrical Apprentices/Helpers for our operations in Abilene, Texas. Prefer Local candidates but will consider helpers who will work on a 2:1 rotation or M-F schedule. Can count on at least 50-60 hours per week. This is a fast-paced environment. Must be able to contend with the weather conditions.
Apprentice/Helper
• Current Texas Apprentice License (Company will help set up if required)
• Minimum 1-year electrical experience (2 years of electrical experience preferred)
• Previous oilfield experience and knowledge is preferred
• High School Diploma/GED or higher level
• Basic computer knowledge (windows, email, internet, etc.)
• Good communication skills
• Basic math skills
• Reading skills (basic instructional and technical information) -OR-
• An acceptable combination of education and experience
• Must have clean driving record

Apprentice/Helper
- Assist in bending tubing 1/4" to 1/2" stainless steel
- Run tubing with some supervision
- Understands basic blueprints with moderate supervision
- Assists with installing supports and braces
- Experience with chop saw, band saw, drills, threaders, etc.
- Read tape measure and applicable degree units
- Basic knowledge of tools
- Assist in fabrication and assemblies of conduit, welded piping, tubing, and associated brackets to all drawings provided
