POSITION SUMMARY
We are currently seeking an Electrical Assembler who is responsible for assembly operations including wire harness assembly, soldering, box build, and electrical accessory assembly, according to customer specifications and a high level of quality standards.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Assemble electrical components into sub-assemblies and finished goods by performing specialized work steps in order to meet customer driven requirements.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCES
- High school diploma or high school equivalency preferred. Candidates that do not have a high school diploma or high school equivalency will be required to take a pre-employment assessment to be considered for the role.
- At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting.
- The effective use of a variety of specialized hand tools to complete assembly as instructed.
- Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and reports to determine material requirements and assembly instructions.
- Perform tests on assembled products using testing equipment if required.
- Complete and maintain required training in accordance with customer and electrical industry standards.
- Be able to follow directions and work with little supervision to complete work requirements in a timely manner.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States. International Traffic in Arms Regulation/Export Administration Regulations (ITAR/EAR clearance is required.)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Noise levels ranging from quiet to extremely loud
- Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when working on the manufacturing floor including, but not limited to, eye, ear, and foot protection
- May occasionally lift and /or move up to 10-50 pounds
