About the Job
Essential/Key Functions:
- Contribute to the overall machine concept and layout.
- Work with design engineers to ensure option compatibility and machine uniformity.
- Coordinate with sales engineering on compatible options and features.
- Receive notification of customer-requested changes and update Windchill configuration as appropriate.
- Provide user support for Windchill and EPLAN.
- Ensure accurate engineering BOMs (Bill of Materials) can be generated from electrical circuits.
- Create and maintain engineering standards and procedures.
- Confer with cross-functional teams to implement design modifications and design rolls.
- Works independently to solve technical problems.
- Ability to work cross-culturally.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in design or BOM (Bill of Material) management.
- Demonstrated knowledge of BOM (Bill of Material) and product life cycle management (PLM) tools/concepts.
- Experience with CAD software and PDM systems.
- Proficient in MS Office tools.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
- EPLAN admin experience.
- Experience Windchill software.
- Background in industrial equipment design.
- Project management experience.
