Construction Electrical Apprentice
Our client is seeking a motivated and dedicated Construction Electrical Apprentice to join their team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical trade while working under the guidance of experienced electricians. The apprentice will assist in various tasks related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Participate in training sessions to develop electrical skills and knowledge of industry standards.
- Help with troubleshooting electrical issues and performing repairs as needed.
- Support the team in ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Carry out physical tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in various weather conditions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in the electrical trade.
- Basic understanding of electrical concepts and principles (preferred but not required).
- Ability to work well in a team environment and take direction from experienced electricians.
- Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials and work in confined spaces.
- Valid driver s license and reliable transportation (preferred).
