Job Title: Project Manager, Electrical Operations – Switchgear and Generator Replacement Projects
Location: Hybrid (some in-office work required, with 25%-50% travel across the U.S.)
Must be local to Minnesota
Must be work on ITR Group's W2.

Role Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and skilled Project Manager to oversee the replacement of end-of-life electrical assets, including switchgear and generators, across multiple retail locations nationwide. This role will be responsible for managing the communication and collaboration between stores, vendors, utility companies, and other partners, ensuring projects stay on schedule and are executed successfully. The ideal candidate will bring 5-10 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on electrical projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage switchgear and generator replacement projects across retail locations, coordinating with stores, vendors, and utility companies.
- Collaborate with the Program Owner to set up schedules and track project execution, ensuring timely and successful project completion.
- Serve as the primary point of communication for all project stakeholders, effectively relaying technical and non-technical information.
- Organize and manage the scope of work, delegating tasks as needed and prioritizing based on project demands.
- Oversee risk and change management processes, making adjustments to schedules or resources as necessary.
- Utilize tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Office, Procore, and Bluebeam to track project progress and maintain documentation.
- Conduct site visits as required, which may include occasional overnight shifts grouped into 3-4 consecutive nights during the week.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in construction project management, particularly in electrical projects, with strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively across functional teams and with external partners.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time, delegate tasks, prioritize work scopes, and manage risk and change processes.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings.
- Willingness to travel (25%-50%) via airplane and to work occasional overnight shifts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Zoom.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Procore, SAP, Smartsheet, Bluebeam, or other construction and project management software.
- Familiarity with Gridpoint, Engie, or experience in electrical project estimation or contracting.
- Previous experience in roles such as Estimator, Site Foreman, Field Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or Electrical Project Manager.
Travel and Work Schedule:
- This role involves 25%-50% travel to various U.S. locations, primarily via airplane.
- Travel is typically scheduled during the week, with occasional Sunday evening departures.
- Some project work may occur at store closings, requiring evening or overnight shifts, grouped into 3-4 consecutive nights per week.
