We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Electrical Controls Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our manufacturing operations, utilizing their expertise in automation controls programming, ladder logic, electrical controls, and more to optimize our production processes. This is a permanent, full-time position, offering a challenging and rewarding work environment, competitive compensation, and growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in PLC & HMI programming, SLC 500's, VFD, and Controls Logics.
Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Controls Specialist, you will be responsible for the following:
1. Designing, programming, and troubleshooting PLC-based control systems and HMI interfaces, focusing on optimizing efficiency and performance.
2. Developing and implementing standard operating procedures for the operation and maintenance of electrical and control systems.
3. Analyzing system data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and implement necessary changes.
4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical control systems with other manufacturing processes.
5. Ensuring all electrical control systems are compliant with industry standards and safety regulations.
6. Providing technical support and guidance to production teams and other stakeholders.
7. Continually staying abreast of advancements in automation and controls technology, incorporating relevant innovations into our operations.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you should have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in automation controls programming, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven expertise in PLC & HMI programming, ladder logic, electrical controls, SLC 500's, VFD, and Controls Logics.
3. A strong understanding of manufacturing processes and systems, with the ability to identify and implement efficiency improvements.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and control systems issues.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
6. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
7. A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
