Are you a CONTROLS Person? We are searching for an experienced Electrical Controls & Instrumentation Engineer to join the ESCO Technologies team. ESCO Technologies offers a great team environment and employer paid medical insurance!
This individual is responsible for contributing to the success of live projects and new product development through equipment electrical hardware, pneumatic hardware and PLC/HMI software design in order to result in a compliant, well-functioning, innovative and on time system to achieve customer satisfaction in line with Esco business objectives.
- Perform project electrical and pneumatics hardware and PLC/HMI software design including test and validation activities on equipment and systems in accordance with applicable regulatory standards and to cGMP and GAMP 5 guidelines for the pharmaceutical industry.
- Liaise with associated team members to ensure the effective communication and execution of design, assembly and test activities, including detailed organized work structure and presentation to effectively hand over the developed new product to production.
- Understand requirements for Aseptic and Non-Aseptic Isolator Systems and their construction in order to maintain and hold pressure, airflow and functionality suitable for its application.
- Generate P&ID’s, electrical schematics, panel wiring diagrams, termination diagrams, pneumatic schematics, assembly instructions, functional specifications, PLC/HMI software design specifications and test / validation protocols to required standards.
Job Qualifications:
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Basic knowledge of reading mechanical arrangement and assembly drawings.
- 2+ years’ experience in electrical hardware, pneumatics hardware and software design, including the following:
- Electrical control panel layout diagrams.
- Electrical schematic and termination diagrams.
- Electrical BOM generation.
- Pneumatic schematic generation.
- Pneumatic BOM generation.
- PLC Programming - Allen Bradley and / or Siemens.
- HMI Programming - Allen Bradley and / or Siemens.
- Good working attitude, detail oriented, adaptability and willingness to learn.
- Supporting Technical writing (O&M Manual, Assembly Instructions, Functional & Software Design Specifications).
- Trouble shooting of electrical panels, circuitry, pneumatics.
- Testing and Validation of Control Systems.
