Job Title: Electrical Data Collection SpecialistLocation: Palm Beach Gardens, FL
Job Type: Long Term Contract
Pay Rate: $50 - $60
Job Summary: The Electrical Data Collection Specialist will be responsible for collecting, interpreting, and managing asset data from various industrial environments. This role requires a strong background in electrical engineering and experience with data collection processes. The specialist will work closely with the PGD Maximo team and other relevant teams to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection: Gather raw data from the field, including pictures and attributes of electrical assets.
- Data Interpretation: Accurately interpret electrical drawings and asset data.
- Template Creation: Collaborate with the PGD Maximo team to develop and utilize standardized templates for data entry.
- Data Entry: Ensure careful and critical data entry into Maximo, maintaining high standards of accuracy.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in the QA review process to verify data accuracy before it is loaded into production.
- Collaboration: Work closely with contractors and other team members to ensure seamless data collection and management.
- Project Coordination: Assist in coordinating data collection efforts across multiple sites, including transmission substations, solar PV, and energy storage plants.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in data collection and management in industrial settings.
- Proficiency in interpreting electrical drawings and asset data.
- Familiarity with Maximo or similar asset management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work on-site and interact directly with various teams.
- Experience in the energy sector, particularly with transmission substations, solar PV, and energy storage plants.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for data collection and management.
