Electrical Design Engineer (Capital Harness)

Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Similar technical education, or a combination of equivalent experience & education.

Tools:

• Must be experienced with design tools such as Capital Harness (CHS/XC), AutoCAD, or similar 2D electrical design software.
• Catia V5 basic navigation experience

Skills:

1. AutoCAD & Catia-V5, Capitol Harness Logic/XC &/or Mentor graphics required
2. Hands on Experience in Electrical harness modeling in CATIA V5 - Electrical harness Routing (EHI) and Electrical Fitting installation
3. Analyze and create Electrical designs in 3D models using Schematic drawings
4. Passenger Aircraft electrical system design experience.
5. Wire Bundle calculation
6. Knowledge about selection of components, connectors, wire sizes & Conduits
7. Design considerations for type of protections required while routing wire harnesses.
8. Able to define: Branching, bend radius, colors requirement per industry standards.
9. Hands on experience in designing of supporting brackets for the installation of wire harnesses using Sheetmetal/ part module in Catia - V5
10. Experienced in applying GD&T and perform Tol. Stack up
11. Maintains Aerospace Industry related and applicable documents.
