REFERRAL BONUS PROGRAM:

Summary:
The ESV's (Electronic Systems Vehicle) Vehicle Development team seeks a collaborative engineer to work on Multimedia, HVAC panels, cockpit, and chassis switches. The primary responsibility of this role is vehicle development for Multimedia, HVAC panels, cockpit switches, and chassis switches. Reporting to the Vehicle Development Senior Manager, the person in this role will work to fulfill Electronic Systems Vehicle's objective of building a North American electronics center of excellence that complements the company's global direction.
Responsibilities:
- Vehicle application of Multimedia, HVAC panel, cockpit switches (window master switch, N3 switches) and chassis switches (Spiral cable, Combi switch)
- Plan structure and design of Multimedia, HVAC panel and switches through target setting, packaging and style feasibility that balances performance, customer needs and cost while ensuring regulatory compliance
- Issue design specifications to suppliers and manage supplier schedule, performance and quality
- Manage part list and issue internal design documents including engineering change instructions and wiring specifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills
- 5 years or more as an electrical design engineer
- Must be able to work up to 30% overtime
- Experience in vehicle electronics development
- Experience in CATIA
