Electrical Design Engineer - Revel Staffing

Responsibilities:

• Custom Electrical Design: Work with clients to understand specific requirements and develop customized electrical systems for power distribution modules and generator enclosures.
  
• Power System Design: Design and integrate medium and high voltage switchgear applications, UPS systems, and access control components, ensuring compliance with client needs and industry regulations.
  
• Structural and HVAC Coordination: Support structural design requirements and coordinate HVAC systems, considering environmental factors based on equipment shipping destinations.
  
• Material Selection & Documentation: Choose materials suited to environmental and operational demands and create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials for procurement.
  
• Project Management: Oversee project milestones from initial design through implementation, ensuring timelines and standards are met.
  
• Quality Assurance: Implement quality control procedures to guarantee the reliability and performance of all electrical systems.
  
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay current with industry standards, regulations, and safety codes, integrating them into design processes.
  
• Client Engagement: Maintain communication with clients throughout project phases to ensure satisfaction and address any adjustments.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  
• 10+ years of experience in electrical design and systems, ideally within the mission-critical or power distribution industry.
  
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
  
• Strong understanding of structural analysis, materials selection, and HVAC integration.
  
• Project management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong problem-solving mindset.
