Selectek is seeking an Electrical Designer for a role with a partnering company, located in Alpharetta, Georgia. This firm needs candidates with strong backgrounds in electrical designs for industrial projects to work under the direction of senior engineers.
Employment Type: Temp to Perm
Expected Pay Range: $27 to $32 per hour, based on experience
Location: Alpharetta, Georgia
Job Requirements:
- 3+ years of electrical design experience
- AutoCAD proficiency
- Knowledge of design for industrial sites
In addition to these requirements, candidates must hold United States citizenship, per the clients request. Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.
Job Details:
- Develop electrical designs - single power diagrams, schematics, interconnect diagrams, and panel layouts
- Develop conduit and cable tray layouts, cable schedules, and perform fill calculations
- Create and revise P&IDs
- Create drawings for electrical enclosures, equipment, instruments and installation details
- Visit sites as necessary to create sketches, red lines, and gather information.
