Electrical Designer/Engineer - Selectek, Inc.

Our client in Milwaukee, WI is looking for An Electrical Design Engineer to work on challenging building electrical systems for healthcare, senior living and multi-family residential projects.
Required:

• 5+ years of electrical design experience for low voltage building systems.
• A working understanding of the National Electric Code and model energy codes is required.
• Candidates are responsible for creating CAD drawings of their work.
• Revit experience is preferred, but not required.
• Qualifications include strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities Include:

• Interior and exterior lighting layout drawings, fixture specification and control systems for code compliance and energy savings
• Exterior photometric analysis for community approvals
• Normal and emergency power distribution drawings, panel schedules and riser diagrams
• Low voltage system integration and coordination. These include fire alarm, access control, communications, IT/ data, security, nurse/ help call, audio-visual
• System analysis for fault current and selective coordination
• Following completion of design documents, input may be required during the municipal or
• health department plan review and permitting process.
• During construction you will be involved with contractors and field staff to answer questions, review product submittals and make on-site observations of the work.

Hybrid work schedule
Salary 60k-95k
