Selectek has a full-time opportunity in Sarasota, FL for a talented Electrical Designer to join our team and contribute to the design and drafting of various commercial projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and develop drawings for building lighting, power, and electrical distribution systems.
• Perform engineering calculations for lighting and power systems.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable standards and codes.
• Evaluate, select, and specify appropriate electrical equipment and systems.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other disciplines to ensure project success.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, owners, contractors, and team members.
• Maintain a positive and professional work environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office.
• Working knowledge of NEC, IBC, IECC, NFPA, IESNA, and other relevant codes and standards.
• Ability to identify and respond effectively to project needs.
• Adhere to project schedules, budgets, and scope of work.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with clients, owners, contractors, and team members.
• Maintain a positive and professional work environment.
