We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a position with a hybrid work model, allowing for a balance of both remote and onsite work. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our construction projects, providing expertise in electrical design and implementation, lighting design, riser diagrams, and REVIT MEP. This role requires a deep understanding of Electrical NEC, NFPA70, and NFPA72. With over 5 years of experience in the field, the ideal candidate will be well-versed in the challenges and rewards of the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement electrical systems for various construction projects, ensuring compliance with national and local codes (NEC, NFPA70, NFPA72).
2. Utilize REVIT MEP for modeling and coordination of electrical systems.
3. Design and implement lighting systems in accordance with project specifications and energy efficiency standards.
4. Create and interpret riser diagrams for electrical installations.
5. Collaborate with a team of engineers, architects, and construction professionals to ensure project success.
6. Conduct inspections of electrical systems and components to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
7. Prepare and present detailed reports on the status of electrical systems within construction projects.
8. Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders.
9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering within the construction industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of electrical codes and standards (NEC, NFPA70, NFPA72).
4. Proficiency in REVIT MEP and other relevant software.
5. Proven experience in lighting design and riser diagrams.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex projects.
7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
8. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
9. A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
10. Valid professional engineer license.
