Selectek is seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join a large, established Architecture and Engineering firm in Atlanta, GA. This is a full-time opportunity for an individual passionate about applying their expertise to design electrical systems for essential municipal projects.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and develop project narratives, cost estimates, plans, and specifications.
- Generating and evaluating design options from the earliest stages of a project
- Overseeing and performing project work in all phases
- Providing drawing coordination and technical oversight for project activities with clients, staff, and consultants
- Performing site observations, reviewing shop drawings and material submittals and other related construction administration tasks
- Specific experience with designing Motor Control Centers
- Mentoring Staff
- Participating in project pursuits and/or interviews
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in electrical engineering design for municipal projects.
- Bachelor of Electrical Engineer (PE License preferred, EIT considered for qualified candidate with commitment to obtaining PE license).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of building, energy, and electrical codes.
- Experience with construction administration and resolving project conflicts.
- Ability to assess existing electrical systems (lighting design/photometrics a plus).
- Passion for sustainability and experience with LEED Certified Projects (LEED AP a plus).
- Past experience designing water and wastewater projects is a plus.
