Electrical Engineer - Building Construction - J.Riley Recruitment

We have been retained by our client, a growing Engineering Firm in the Charlotte, NC area, to find an Electrical Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading the design and quality control of electrical and communications projects for various construction and retrofit initiatives.

Duties:

• Design and oversee electrical and communications systems for new constructions, renovations, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Apply engineering principles and modifications to meet project specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct site assessments, document existing conditions, and provide detailed reports.
• Review and approve design plans from subcontractors, ensuring all designs meet the necessary quality and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers, designers and architects in the planning and execution of projects, serving as a technical consultant.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
• PE license
• 5+ years' experience in electrical and communication design
• LEED-AP certification is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage and administer construction contracts effectively
