CDI Engineering Solutions is a multi-disciplinary engineering organization offering a full range of integrated engineering design, project support, procurement and construction management services to the energy and chemicals industries.
Position Summary:Direct Position with CDI Engineering with site team in Deer Park, TX
HYBRID WORK SCHEDULE!
Electrical Engineer with Texas P.E. capable of leading projects consisting of medium and low voltage gear, raceway, grounding, and studies.
Responsibilities:Lead the design and coordination with other disciplines of electrical power equipment, to include panels, receptacles, motor control centers, switchgear, cable tray systems, conduit, grounding, power cable sizing, lighting design, lightning protection on oil and chemical refinery type projects.
ETAP or SKM studies to include relay coordination, voltage drop, transformer sizing, motor starting, load flow, fault current, arc flash.
Typical projects range from 1 to 5 months in duration, often more than one project being worked in parallel.
Qualifications:Must have a PE License.
BSEE degree from ABET Accredited University.
Lead the design and coordination with other disciplines of electrical power equipment.
Fluent use of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, SKM and or ETAP.
Able to safely walk around on site with personal protective equipment as required for the area.
Current TWIC Card, able to pass safety council testing.
Pass drug and legal history background check.
Must have TEXAS Professional Engineer License.
Education Requirements:BSEE degree from ABET Accredited University.
Texas P.E. a must.
