Title: Electric Engineer (Gas Projects)
Location: Position is fully REMOTE
Description
Engineer that has electrical and controls engineering for natural gas facilities projects.
What You’ll Do:
· Electrical and Controls engineering for Natural Gas Facilities projects
· Initiating and maintaining extensive contracts to ensure consistent engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and technological advances
· Responsibilities include
o Hazardous Area Classification (HAC) compliance and design
o grounding system design,
o wiring design and implementation,
o electrical diagram and schematic designs
o P&ID design
· Leadership responsibilities to include technical development and mentorship
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering preferred
· 3 + years of experience in electrical engineering within gas facilities or related industries
· EIT or Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
· Experience with communication protocols, instrumentation, and controls systems
· Effective communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with ETAP, SKM for Arc Flash studies
· Extensive SCADA knowledge
· Extensive working knowledge of NFPA 70 - National Electric Code (NEC)
· Knowledge of command and feedback signals
