Electrical Engineer II

Pay Rate: $49.00 hourly
The Electrical Engineer supports the development, testing, fabrication, and fielding of highly complex military equipment
In this role, the Electrical Engineer:
Researches, plans, designs, develops, modifies, and evaluates electronic and electrical systems and components
Utilizes advanced modeling and analysis tools to develop product specifications, models, simulations, technical data packages, and integration and verification procedures
Evaluates vendor capabilities, technologies, and services to assess their ability to deliver required products or services.
The qualified candidate will work under the general direction of a project engineering lead to perform electrical system design on a variety of military systems, including combat vehicles, gun systems, and guided munitions
The Electrical Engineer also provides detailed engineering analysis of components, subsystems, and systems for military product applications.
Requirements
Typically requires 1+ years relevant experience with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field or 0+ years with a Master's degree Ability to solve moderately complex technical design and development problems
Experience in creating, reading, and comprehending schematics and interconnect drawings
Ability to create and manage interface control documents
Ability to perform circuit simulation (using PSpice or LTspice)
Effective verbal and written communication skills to convey data, information, and technical results
Experience with analog and digital circuit design and analysis
Experience developing technical documentation, including drawings, reports, and technical analyses.
