Electrical Engineer IV
Oshkosh, WI- HYBRID
6 Months, potential extension
Pay: $40-55 per hour
Hybrid (2 days WFH)
Requirements: Electrification hardware integration experience (generators, inverters, converters, etc).
Understanding of high voltage systems and High voltage system safety
Preferred but not required: Ability to create one-line architecture diagrams for a project.
The Engineer Electrical designs functional, reliable, and cost-effective, heavy-duty vehicle electrical systems. Performs engineering analysis and electrical design or re-design, and development of electrical systems and subsystems into existing and new vehicles.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with Internship experience or six (6) months or more related work experience.
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS:
Accredited Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Familiarity with programming languages and controls software.
Familiarity with Controller Area Network (CAN)/SAE J1939 and/or Vehicle Networking.
Automotive/Heavy Equipment Repair or Design Experience.
Wire Harness design experience.

YOUR IMPACT:
- Under close supervision, perform basic engineering calculations, investigations, and tasks as assigned according to *** as well as general industry engineering standards and processes.
- Support Senior Engineers in the preparation of basic plans, designs, computation methods, and/or reporting.
- Under close supervision, works on projects of limited complexity in a support role.
- Collaborate as needed with other engineering or business support disciplines internally as well as suppliers externally.
- Under close supervision, design electrical parts and components to correct parameters and specifications while incorporating quality, cost reliability and ease of manufacturing.
- Support Senior Engineers with basic and accurate calculations, analysis and investigation according to *** as well as general industry engineering standards and processes.
- Provide technical assistance for prototype, pilot or production builds, including resolution of problems in manufacturing.
- Process engineering information through change notices, change proposals, and the creation of thorough print documentation.
- Collaborate as needed with other engineering or business support disciplines internally as well as suppliers externally.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Regular attendance is required.
