_About This Role_
Textron Systems is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team. This individual will work as part of a multidisciplined
design engineering team during the development phases of an emerging program. The individual will be responsible for
developing new analog designs and the transition of those designs into military qualified hardware. The individual should be familiar with Mixed Signal electronics design. Knowledge of switching power supply design is a plus. Understanding of Multilayer PWA’s. The individual should be familiar with using OrCAD Capture, PSPICE or LTSpice and other simulation products. Our Design Engineering team is focused on developing and improving new product designs to support advanced emerging programs for military customers.
_Responsibilities_
- Designing and developing mixed signal electronic designs
- Developing schematics in standard design tools
- Analyzing circuit designs
- Testing and debugging electronic hardware during engineering test
- Working in a collaborative and cross-functional discipline environment
Qualifications
_Qualifications_
- 9 or more years of relevant experience in Mixed Signal electronics design
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- Experience with designing High density printed circuit boards.
- Knowledgeable with Allegro CIS Schematic Capture and PSPICE
- Experience with simulation & analysis of various circuits under worst case situations (i.e. Worst Case Circuit Analysis)
- Familiarity with parts derating guidelines and uses
- Capable of basic modification of component models.
- Capable of developing simulations with LTSPICE
- Familiarity with various lab instrumentation, testing, and debugging
- Familiarity with low voltage power supply design
- Familiarity supporting PCB and PWA layout
- Familiarity with digital design and standard data buses
- Possesses or has ability to obtain a Secret level security clearance
