Overview
As an Electrical Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and components. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that electrical systems meet quality, safety, and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into products
Conducting research to gather information on new technologies and materials
Developing project plans, budgets, and timelines for electrical engineering projects
Performing risk assessments and mitigation for electrical systems
Creating and maintaining technical documentation for electrical designs and systems
Providing technical support and guidance to production and installation teams
Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
Identifying and troubleshooting electrical issues and providing solutions
Managing project milestones and deliverables
Collaborating with vendors and suppliers for electrical components and materials
Conducting feasibility studies and cost analysis for electrical projects
Participating in design reviews and recommending improvements
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives for electrical systems
Training and mentoring junior electrical engineering staff
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering
Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design
Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations
Experience with power distribution systems and controls
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Understanding of safety and quality standards for electrical systems
Experience with project management and resource allocation
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with sustainable and energy-efficient electrical technologies
Adaptability to new technologies and industry trends
