Are you passionate about electrical engineering and the construction industry? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a problem-solver who enjoys tackling complex projects and is adept at creating innovative solutions. This position is permanent and full-time, providing an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of construction projects and shape the future of our electrical systems design.
Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our team. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Designing and reviewing electrical systems for various construction projects using AutoCAD and Revit.
2. Developing and implementing power systems, ensuring they meet all safety standards and regulations.
3. Conducting in-depth circuit analysis, troubleshooting any issues that arise, and proposing effective solutions.
4. Collaborating with other engineers, architects, and construction personnel to ensure electrical systems integrate seamlessly with other building systems.
5. Preparing and presenting detailed reports on the status of electrical projects, including any challenges faced and how they were overcome.
6. Keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in electrical engineering and the construction industry, applying this knowledge to your work.
7. Ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budget, without compromising on quality or safety.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. At least 2 years of experience in electrical engineering within the construction industry.
3. Proficiency in Electrical Systems Design, AutoCAD, Power Systems, Circuit Analysis, and Revit.
4. Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex electrical concepts to non-technical team members.
6. A solid understanding of electrical codes and safety standards within the construction industry.
7. The ability to work well under pressure, managing multiple projects at once and meeting tight deadlines.
8. A proactive attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Valid License in Minnesota, Iowa, South Dakota and North Dakota
