Electrical Engineer
Location:Mossville, IL
Position Description:
The Role will be primarily for developing a replacement for legacy Electrical and Electronic (E&E) components, Providing E&E Technical support for NPI or CPI projects, and Researching and developing the use of new E&E technologies to resolve obsolescence issues.
Education & Experience Required:
" Bachelor's degree in engineering required, preference would be in computer or electronics engineering.
" Related BS or MS projects or internships will be considered if durations are included.
" Related Associate's Degree will be considered with an additional two years' experience (seven years minimum)
" PhD holders would be considered overqualified and will be declined.
" 5-7 years' experience required.
Required Technical Skills:
" Experience with lab equipment Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, Operational Amplifiers.
" Experience with Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R) tool/process
" Experience with Failure Mode Effect & Root Cause Analysis (FMEA) process
" Good documentation and presentation skills using MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.
Desired Technical Skills:
" Knowledge and experience with connectivity/telematics technologies
" Experience with Operating Systems: MS Windows 7,8,10, UNIX, Ubuntu
" Canalyzer
Soft Skills:
" Good interpersonal and collaboration skills
" Attention to details
" Ability to work in a team as well as an individual
" Ability to work under pressure and maintain deadlines
" Self starter
" Ability to communicate technical information effectively.
