About the Job
LaBella Associates is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer in our Poughkeepsie, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of electrical design drawings, specifications, and reports
- Responsible for project construction (submittal review, construction observation, and punch lists)
- Interact closely with mechanical, civil, structural engineers and project architects
- Prepare electrical design drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Perform lighting calculations and arc flash studies.
- Perform field investigations to document existing conditions.
Requirements
- Building system design experience focused on power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, security systems & telecommunication
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, MS Excel and Word
- Familiarity with electrical modeling programs – Lighting software AGi32, Power software SKM
- Familiarity with Arc-Flash Evaluation
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- Minimum 5 years engineering experience involving building systems projects
- Strong writing, organizational and communications skills
- Ability to work on several projects simultaneously
- On path towards New York PE license preferred, not required
Salary Range: $75,000 - $105,000
The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
