Electrical Engineer
Why We Are Hiring for This Role:
To design, develop, and test the electrical systems that power our robots, including power electronics, power storage/distribution, sensor integration, motor control, and actuators.
To innovate in the development of robust and efficient circuit designs that can endure the demands of versatile robotic applications.
To ensure our robots" electrical systems are compatible with cutting-edge technologies and AI integrations, enhancing their functionality and intelligence.
hardware ownership: spec and architecture, design,sim, layout, prototype, bring-up, and validation
Design circuit boards for motor controls, sensors (vision, IMU, encoders, tactile), LEDs, etc for robotics application.
What Kind of Person We Are Looking For:
An individual with a solid grasp of electrical engineering fundamentals, specifically in the areas of robotics or mechatronics.
An individual who has strong technical intuition and can increases team's debugging speed
A detail-oriented professional with experience in PCB design and prototyping, embedded systems, and electromechanical integration.
Understanding of analog & digital circuits - micro-controllers, power dissipation, I2C,SPI,MOSFETS, Switching regulators, op-amps.
Some experience with CAN, ethernet and other communication protocols
Experience with battery management systems
Experience with safety considerations in designing an electrical system
Some experience with control

The annual compensation is expected to be between $100,000 - $1,000,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
