Electrical Foreman!
I am currently working with a valued client in need of an Electrical Foreman in the Michigan Area .
General Summary: Electrical Foremen reports to a supervisor and is responsible for the management of jobs and/or work orders assigned to them. All work must be performed in accordance with the policies and procedures of the company. Work will consist of installation, alterations, additions, and/or repairs of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials and equipment within the commercial, industrial, and residential electrical construction industry.

Electrical Foreman Preferred Job Skills: Basic computer and software skills, current knowledge of NEC, time management and organizational skills necessary to complete job-site-related paperwork, planning, directing, and coordinating work crews, superior oral and written communication, safe operation of hand tools and powered equipment, accountability for work layout, safety enforcement, and the physical security of material, tools, equipment and company vehicles.
Electrical Foreman Responsibilities:
- Plan reading and N.E.C code knowledge
- Work up to five workers daily.
- Handle purchasing requirements for his project.
- Job site daily reporting, job scheduling.
- Handle construction coordination meetings.
- Work with the project manager to respond to RFI.
- Journeyman or Master license a plus, but not a requirement.
Licenses: Current driver’s license if required by job conditions; applicable federal, state, and local licenses as required by job conditions or by the company.
Certifications: Applicable federal, state, and local certifications as required by job conditions or by the company.
Education: High School Graduate, holder of G.E.D.
Experience: 3 to 5 Years working in the electrical field as an Electrical Foreman under an electrical contractor is preferred, but 1 to 2 years working in the field as an Electrical Foreman under an electrical contractor is acceptable.
